Annie Ruth Alford

Services for Annie Ruth Bell Alford, 94, of Baytown, Texas will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Earthman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Ellis officiating. Mrs. Alford, lovingly know as Nanny, died December 16, 2010, in Livingston, Texas. She was a resident of Baytown from 1939 until 2001 when she entered a nursing home in Bedford, Texas. She then moved to a nursing home in Livingston, Texas in 2006 where she remained until her death. Annie Ruth was a long time member of Lakewood Church of Christ in Baytown. Mrs. Alford was preceded in death by her grandson, Steven Dan Alford, her husband Allen Calvin Alford, and her brother Aubrey Blan Bell of Fort Worth. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Allen Wayne and Carolyn Alford of Conroe, Aubrey Dan and Karen Alford of Huntsville, and daughter and son-in-law Ruth Anne and Jimmie Coker of Baytown; grandsons David Alford, Mark Alford, Timothy Alford, Paul Alford, Scott Alford and Christopher Alford and 9 great grandchildren: Adam, Aaron, Mark Allen, Alexandria, Spencer, Jacob, Benjamin, Elizabeth, and Hannah. Burial will be at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown. Pallbearers will be her grandsons David, Mark, Timothy, Scott and Christopher Alford and great grandson Adam Alford. Visitation will be held before the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, Monday, December 20, 2010, at Earthman Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Earthman Baytown Funeral Home.
