Annie ""Ann Ola Shelton Wheeland

Annie ""Ann"" Ola Shelton Wheeland, 84, of Deer Park was born March 6, 1929 in Conroe and passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 in a Baytown hospital. She was a member of the Baptist faith and The Order of the Eastern Star Livingston Chapter #1139. She was a retired public school cafeteria manager.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Lola Mae Shelton; husband, Carl Wheeland; and brother, Virgil ""Sonny"" Shelton. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Wheeland-Smith of Deer Park; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Joni Wheeland of Livingston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Shelton of Crosby, Leroy and Marie Shelton of El Campo, Joe ""Dickie"" and Lavelle Shelton of Kingwood, and Emogene Shelton of Goodrich; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Homer Henson of Conroe and Carolyn and Larry Vackar of Spring; grandchildren and their spouses, Julie Ann and Scott Bishop of College Station, Vicki Simmons of Deer Park, Kelly and Jon Rood of Livingston, Wes and Amanda Wheeland and Carl Ross Wheeland, all of Porter; great grandchildren, Weston, Wyatt, Whittney, Carliann, Alyssa, and Jon Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Don Willis of the First United Methodist Church in Livingston officiating. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Shelton, Ross Wheeland, Scott Bishop, Mark Roberts, Paul Shelton, Jon Rood, Steve Shelton, and Wayne Shelton.
