Annie Belle Overstreet

Annie Belle Overstreet, 90, of Baytown was born August 22, 1917 in Warren, TX and passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in Baytown. She was a seamstress, and member of Memorial Baptist Church and the 42 Domino Club. Her other hobbies included quilting, ceramics, doll collecting and growing African Violets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Lee and Lilly Holligan Neal; husband of 65 years, William Freddie Overstreet; brothers, Ray, Sid, and Melvin Neal; and sisters, Elsie Mullins and Opal Kader. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Dr. Dennis and Vikki Overstreet of Austin and Royce Overstreet of Bryan; daughters and sons-in-laws, Betty and Mickey Stewart of Friendswood and Sharon and Michael Hollaway of Baytown; grandchildren, David and Russell Stewart, Rene Sellers, Phillip Overstreet and Kathleen Trevino; and great grandchildren, Cody Stewart, Koulton Sellers and Tres Trevino.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Hoffmann officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Cemetery in Warren, TX.

Serving as pallbearers will be David, Russell, and Cody Stewart, David Overstreet, David Sellers, Phillip Trevino and Phillip Overstreet.

The family wishes to give special thanks to her loving sitters for the past two years, Odyssey Hospice and St. James House.

In lieu usual remembrances, contributions may be made to Memorial Baptist Church, 600 W. Sterling St, Baytown, TX. 77520.
