Antoinette married the love of her life, Charles Crain, on September 5, 1953, and together they built a loving family and a life full of memories. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irven and Ruby Moreau; her husband, Charles Crain; her granddaughter, Patricia Crain; and her brothers, Irven Jr., Benjamin, and Clyde Moreau.
She is survived by her children: Charles T. Crain; Perry Crain and wife Susan; Richard Crain and wife Lori; and Larry Crain and wife Kim. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Jesse, Angela, Christopher and wife Bianca, Christie and husband Michael, Randy and wife Gabriella, Heather King, Kandy and husband Adrian, Charles, Amanda Carlisle and husband Christopher, Luke and wife Ashley, Kayla and husband Patrick, Micah, and one she personally added to the family, Shannon Fullbright.
Antoinette was also blessed with 35 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her sisters and brother: Kathryn, Andrea, Leona, and Danny Moreau.
Antoinette retired from US Data Link in 2011. She enjoyed caring for her plants and flowers, bird watching, and spending time with the people she loved most. Her family meant everything to her. She was a wonderful mother, the best grandmother her grandchildren could ask for, and lovingly known by all as “Granny.”
She had a great sense of humor, a strong personality, and just enough of a mean streak to keep everyone in line — something her family will always smile about and cherish.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Harbor Hospice for their care, compassion, and support during this difficult time.
