Artha Bruno Langelier

He was born on January 16, 1971, on the island of

St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, and moved to the Baytown

area in 1977 with his family.

He was a father, a fiancé, a brother, a son, a friend,

and a hero to so many.

Art’s career with Total Petrochemicals spanned more than 20 years, and his colleagues were more than friends – truly family. As member of the team of brothers within the Fire and Safety division, his passion for helping people was channeled daily through the lives

he saved and the care he rendered to all around him.

Never was there a more selfless, helpful, and caring man wearing red.

Art personified the saying “any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad”. His sons, Skylar and Noah, were his greatest pride and joy. From coaching their childhood athletic teams to guiding them through their teen years, his involvement in their young lives left a mark that will not soon be forgotten.

Art is survived by his loving fiancé, Laura Thousand, with whom he shared life and dreams of a future, and his sons, Skylar and Noah Langelier. He is also survived by his close, loving family: his father, Kasib Langelier, siblings Parry JohnBaptiste and his wife Ivory, Nova Langelier-Cruz, Lee Langelier and his wife Suzanne, Yusuf Langelier, Muna Langelier Gee and her husband Dre, and Sylvester Langelier, as well as nieces and nephews Dedrick, Cameron, Symonne, Svannah, Sydney, Exilia, Ashley and Desmond, and great niece Rosemary Phoenix. He is preceded in death by his dear mother, Rosemary Langelier, and his nephew, Tre Langelier.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home in Baytown, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017

at the funeral home with Dr. Fred Childs officiating.

Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
