Ascencion “Chon” Ponce, 73 , of Soliseño, Tamaulipas passed away on July 10, 2020. He was born on August 15, 1946 to the union of the late Agustin and Carolina Medrano Ponce. Chon Ponce truly lived life to the fullest with a loving and caring heart. Visiting family and friends, giving his unconditional love to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, spending quality time with his brothers and sisters. He enjoyed the great outdoors and had a never ending appetite. Ascencion is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angelica Maria Ponce; sister, Hermelinda Rodriguez and brother, Miguel Ponce. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Martina Ponce; daughters, Aracelia Duran (Jose Duran) and Silvia Ponce; son, Osbaldo Ponce (Ana Ponce) daughters, Adelina Martinez (Leonardo Martinez) and Sonia Jimenez (Jesus Jimenez) 16 granchildren; 11 Great grandchildren; brothers, Ruben Ponce, Agustin Ponce and Bruno Ponce; sisters, Evangelina Reyna and Linda Ponce.
