Athenia Bonnie Hardy

Athenia ""Bonnie"" Hardy, 74, of Baytown was born December 23, 1942, in Baytown and passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, in a Nassau Bay hospital. She was a 1961 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a member of the Baytown Church of Christ. Bonnie was a loving kindhearted woman who loved her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Chloe Hazleton; stepfather, Andrew Belknap; husband, Jim Hardy; and sister, Helen Virginia Hicks. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Shawn Raiford of Houston, Tracy and Rachelle Kirkwood of Deer Park, and Casey Kirkwood of Houston; and grandchildren, Brianna, Bailey, and Bentley Kirkwood, Milenna Raiford, and Brooke Henson.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Brad Benoit officiating.

Serving as an honorary pallbearers will be Kent Hicks-Hsueh.
