Barbara is an amazing soul. I first met Barbara at Lee HS when she was working for CIS. The depth of knowledge she brought to our staff, the support that she gave, and the genuine love and compassion for others shined through in all that she did. Heaven has gained an angel.

While there is no way we can feel your pain, we feel your loss. Barbara was a part of our lives for so many years and touched the hearts of so many people. We will always cherish the many fond memories. We couldn’t have asked for a better friend who showed caring concern and love for our family. Barbara will forever be in our hearts; her kindness, gentle spirit and love will be remembered forever.

Barbara's gift was love. She loved me and her other co-workers. She had a beautiful smile. She made a bad day a good one with her positive attitude.
I rarely lose my temper. As a result she thought it was funny and ended up making me laugh. It was a gift from God for me to work for CIS and to be able to work beside her.

Gosh i remember meeting this little girl who would become an honorary member of my family and my sisters best friend. Baba, as my daughter use to call her, went everywhere with our family. As well as Ashlee went everywhere with my sister Susan, friend Jenny, and Baba. She was never afraid to let you know exactly how she felt about something and was usually correct. The love she had for her Momma Gracie was something that every daughter should show for their Mom. Give my Daddy a kiss for me and tell your mom i said hi. Love you friend!
