Celebrating the life of Barbara Ann Kukan Barbara was born on July 22, 1942 in Babylon, New York on Long Island to Walter McNab and Mildred McNab. She was the 1st of 2 children and attended Babylon High School. Barbara married Frank Kukan on April 22, 1972 in Shickshinny, PA. She was a member of many churches, Praise Chapel, and Mercy Gate Church to name a few. Barbara had many special friends and attended Bible study with a special group of friends in Pasadena since 2010. All would say that Barbara was kind, loving, strong, and full of faith. The most important things in her life were the births of her children, and grand kids, and knowing all her kids were going to go to heaven. Some of her favorite hobbies were reading, bird watching, being in nature and Bible study, she loved listening to uplifting and traditional gospel. Barbara held very dear to her heart the campaign Stand with Israel. Barbara would not want us to cry, but to be happy, and reflect on the wonderful life she lived. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mildred McNab, her husband Frank Kukan and her daughter-in-law Cathy Harget. She is survived by her sister Donna Ohler; children Adrianna Hennessee and her husband Mike Hennessee, Michelle Bojko and her husband Jeremy Bojko, and Gregory Harget; her grandchildren Mason Teel, Chloe Paschal, Brooke Alexander, Evalynn Alexander, Amanda Davis; nieces Alice Makowski, Milli Gue, Amanda Moore, Elaine Fattorini; great nephews William Fritz, Joey Makowski and Darius Moore; and Great nieces Ashley Moore, Aaliyah Moore, Aurora Muaro, Mckenzie Muaro and Penelope Fattorini.

Granny Barbara was one of the strongest women I've known. She holds a special place in my heart. 💛 Grandmas are moms with lots of frosting. As I learned from growing up, you don't mess with your grandmother. Grandma always made you feel she had been waiting to see just you all day and now the day was complete. This is exactly how she made me feel when I saw her last. I'm going to miss her so much.

Ms. Barbara was the best lady. I loved her and will miss her. When my husband and I would go to clean Adrianna and Mike's home Ms. Barbara would be there with open arms. She had a love for Jesus that was contagious! We often had conversations about our Lord! He received a beautiful angel!

As the UPS driver, I was many times greeted by Barbara and an ensemble of dogs when I came to the back door. I extend my sympathies to you, Adrianna, and the rest of your family. May the peace of GOD that passes all human comprehension comfort, sustain, and encourage you throughout this trying season in your lives.

She is my brother's mother in law. The first time I met her she was such a welcoming person. It was like I had known her for years! Such a sweet lady. I feel like God sent this angel to spread his word and now her job was done and he wanted her home. She will be missed by many. I can only imagine how big she was smiling when she entered heavens gates! Love you!
