Barbra Jean Wilson McKee

Barbra Jean Wilson McKee, 79, of Baytown was born February 24, 1934, in Quanah, TX and passed away Friday, February 14, 2014, in a local healthcare facility. She was a local realtor and real estate broker for 42 years and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Daughters of the King, Beta Sigma Phi, Houston Association of Realtors as a longtime broker, and the Baytown Lions Club. She was devoted to her family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie Strickland and Cody Wilson; husband of 52 years, Raymond McKee; daughters, Bonnie Meredith and Peggy Hunsinger; and special and dear friend, Rosa Mae Johnson. She is survived by her sons, James McKee and John McKee, both of Baytown; grandchildren, Wendi Jones, Samantha Hunsinger, Krissi Garcia, and Michael McKee; great grandsons, Elijah Wilson, Gabriel Garcia, Dominique Garcia, Joanne Garcia, and Thomas Mills; great great grandchild, Autumn Wilson; aunt, Mildred Butler and cousins, all of Killeen; sister-in-law, LaRue McKee and nephew, Craig McKee, both of Lancaster; and special and dear friend, Bernice Warner of Conroe.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, February 17, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Nick Novak officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Meredith, Dick Dawson, Elijah Wilson, Don Ansley, Thomas Mills, and Craig McKee.
