Becky Lowery

Becky Lowery, 75, of Beach City was born July 17, 1940, in Hardin, TX and passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016, in a Houston hospital. She was a 1959 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a member of Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the Julia Lottie Quilting Circle. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruby Murphy and brothers, Fred Murphy and Arvil Murphy. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Lowery of Beach City; sons, Deryle Lowery of Houston and Dwayne Lowery of Beach City; sister, Jeanette Fjeld of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Spencer and Kinley Lowery; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 2, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
