Becky Lynn Vestal Maloy, 68, of Baytown, Texas went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born on November 19, 1952. Becky was known as a kind, caring and loving person to all that she met. She was “Mom” to all. She set a shining example of putting others needs before her own. Even through her battle with breast cancer later in life (which she battled and won with grace and poise), she was always by her husband’s, Andy, side. She worked in accounts payable for Sysco Food Services for over 15 years before retiring, volunteered by her husband as Secretary and Treasure for the Old River/Winfree Vol. Fire Dept. and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed baking, cooking, her beagle “Doc”, and being with family and friends. She was a member of Coady Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Liberty.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oda and Dorothy Vestal, and husband of 45 years, Andrew Maloy. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Holly Maloy; daughter and son-in-law, Jayme and Justin Williamson; grandson, Bruce Williamson; brother, Allen Vestal, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers, Johnny Green, Jerry Green, Chad Green, Tyler Vestal, Jim Robinson, and Bobby Wood.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 29 from 9:00am to 11:00am with a funeral service beginning at 11:00am at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Earthman Baytown Funeral Home.

I was blessed to attend high school with Becky. She had such a sweet spirit and always had a smile.

Becky was such a kind and loving woman. When I needed a safe haven to get away from my home life her and Andy always welcomed me into theirs. She trusted me to babysit her kids, who became my niece and nephew. They introduced me to Andy’s brother and the rest is history. She cared so deeply for her family and friends. Always giving whatever was needed and beyond. You will forever be missed and loved my dear sweet sister-in-law.

I grew up with Becky in Glen Arbor and graduated with her in 1971 at Sterling. Becky was so sweet and easy going. Our paths passed about three years ago when both our husbands were patients at San Jacinto Meth. She was walking by my table in the cafeteria and I called out to her and she sat down and we had lunch - so thankful for that short visit!! She is definitely gone too young. Rest In Peace Becky and May your family find peace in memories.

Becky was an awesome woman. She had a heart bigger than most. She always made everyone welcome and loved. She was a great sister-in-law to me and my wife and children adored her.

Words cannot express the love and respect I have for her. She will be greatly missed. I will always cherish the memories like the first time Andy brought her to meet the family, the times we gathered together during holidays, and her laughter.

I hope the best for John and Jamie and their families and great comfort during this time.
