Becky Adams Urban

Becky Adams Urban, 53, of Baytown was born September 16, 1955 in Baytown and passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 in a local hospital. She was a 1974 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School, attended First Baptist Church Highlands and retired from ExxonMobil.

She was preceded in death by her father, Doug Adams and brother, Donnie Adams and is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Brandon Louvier and Ashley and Blake Coburn, all of Baytown; mother, Jackie Adams of Highlands; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Karen Adams of Houston; grandson, Brayden Michael Coburn; and a host of other family members and friends.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, May 22, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Highlands, 210 N. Magnolia, Highlands, TX 77562 with Rev. Tim Edwards officiating. At her request, she will be cremated afterwards and buried next to her father.

Serving as pallbearers will be Calvin Mundinger, Tim Dodson, John May, Glenn Hearn, Greg Angel and Sammy Schwendeman. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Aubrey, Brian Acome and James Mercado.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Southwest Regional Medical Center, 10109 E. 79th St., Tulsa, OK 74133.

Her family would like to give thanks to all of the special people who were with them and helped them during these last months and a very special thank you to the sweet angels who stayed by Becky's side through it all.
