Bernice Evaline Turley

Bernice Evaline Burns Turley, age 86, died on November 18, 2021. She attended Juilliard at the Music Institute of Chicago. Music was her passion. She taught piano to her students for many years, until she retired from teaching. After moving to Texas, she was the pianist for several churches in the Baytown area. Including Cedar Bayou Baptist, Channelview Baptist, Highlands Methodist, and Baytown First Church-Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Turley, Jr., three stepdaughters, three step- grandchildren, 7 great step-grandchildren, five nieces, and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

A visitation for Bernice will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521. A committal service will occur Monday, November 29, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Sterling White Cemetery, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, TX 77562.
