Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dale Cox, Bart Cox, Mike Cox, Ronnie Cox, Lance Cox, and Rick Cox Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Cox and Bobby Vines.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merritt Cox, son, Jimmy Lynn Cox, and 5 grandchildren and is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, M. J. and Dorothy Cox of Dayton, Joe Ed and Linda Cox of Soso, MS, and Rodney and Lou Cox of Baytown; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Richard Knight of La Porte; sister, Dorothy Mitchell of Stamps, AR; brothers and sister-in-law, Cooney Blankenship of Stamps, AR and Sport and Myrtis Blankenship of Waldo, AR; and 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
