Bessie Mae ""Bet Morris

She was born March 17, 1932 in Goose Creek to her late Parents: Harvey H. Morris and Nellie Reed Morris.

Bet was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, had always lived in Baytown, graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1950, was a member of the Lee Marching Band, worked at Wal-Mart for several years and had also worked at Greer’s Florist.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Hoffman officiating.

She is survived by: Daughter: Denice Parker and her husband George; Son: Freddie Dick, Sr.; Grandchildren: Cathleene Parker-Hutson and her husband Jay, Freddie Dick, Jr. and Angel Dick; Great-Grandchildren: Brian Pendarvis, Farrah Lloyd, Breanna Lloyd and Hunter Lloyd all of Baytown; Sister: Yvonne Speed and her husband Raymond of Houston; Brother: Harvey “Bo” Morris of Pasadena and numerous Nieces and Nephews and a host of Friends.
