Betty Joyce Hollingshead, 84, of Baytown was born August 18, 1927 in Baytown and passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Coady Baptist Church since 1953. She has been in the retail floral business for many years, having worked in her mom's flower business, Ann's Flowers, from 1965 until 1973 and then Betty's Flowers, which she owned and operated until the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ann Kulak and husband, William ""Holly"" Hollingshead. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Elaine Hollingshead and grandchildren, Leslie and Holly Hollingshead, al of Baytown.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Olsen and Rev. John L. Bates officiating. Private burial will follow.
