Betty Jean Wilder, 81, of Baytown was born March 1, 1926 in Weleetka, OK and passed away Thursday, August 30, 2007 in a local hospital. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church and was a retired school bus driver with the Goose Creek school district. She helped build bombers in Oklahoma City, OK during WWII and enjoyed oil painting.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 4:00 p.m. until. 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Wilder and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sharon Wilder of Baytown; sisters, Joan Levins of Duncanville and Juanita Hayes of VA; brother-in-law, Jim Wilder of Broken Arrow, OK; sister-in-law, Alice Wilder of Beaumont; grandchildren, Caprica and Troy Neal, Lara Evert, and Virginia Wilder; great granddaughter, Olivia Neal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
