

Beulah A. Goodman, 88, of Baytown was born May 1, 1924 in Livingston, TX and passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in a local hospital. She was a very active member of Memorial Baptist Church for over 65 years where she was the head of the Adult 8 Senior Sunday School Class and coordinated the Lottie Moon Christmas Officering for International Missions for the past several years. She was a member of the Pilot Club of Baytown, was a former board member for the Baytown Sheltering Arms, and participated with the Meals on Wheels program, along with many other activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy L. Goodman; parents, Frank, Sr. and Lizzie Angel; brothers, Hiram, Frank, Elbert, Lazz, Bruce, and Billy Angel; and sisters, Marion Pace, Marie Harrison, and Grace Sublett. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Robert Newell and Lana and Larry Smith, all of Houston; grandchildren and their spouses, Leigh and Michael Dean, Lou and Louie Massaro, and Mandy and Eric Wisdom; and great grandchildren, Courtney, Kimberleigh, Kendall, McKenzie, and Bubba Dean, Cody and Troy Castrow, Taylor Knight, Priscilla Cones, and Mark Massaro.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Baptist Church, 600 W. Sterling, Baytown, TX 7720 with Rev. Randy Piatt and Rev. Stan Sullinger officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be David, Bruce, Bill, Greg, Gary, and Dennis Angel, Fernie Davis, and Bill Harrison. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Young and Mike Chatham.
