Bevie Conn Hudman

Bevie Conn Hudman, 77, of Baytown, TX, passed away on October 17, 2024. He was born in Baytown, TX on December 9, 1946, to Willie Owen and Josie Betty Hudman. Bevie worked hard for over 35 years for Diamond Shamrock/Occidental as a Plant Operator before retiring.

He was a member of the Baytown Optimist Club and Baptist Temple and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren at family gatherings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Owen and Josie Betty Hudman, brother, Shirly Mac Hudman and daughter, Windy Hudman Lyle.

He is survived by his precious and loving wife, Janice Hudman, daughter Connie Witt and spouse Deke, son Willie Hudman and spouse Angie, son Greg Gardner and spouse Melinda, son Gerald Gardner and spouse Kelli, son Galen Gardner and spouse Kim, and daughter Ginger Salinas and spouse Steve. Also, sister Monta Andrews and spouse Gordon, sister-in-law Barbara Hudman and sister-in-law Melode Monk and spouse Monte.

He is also survived by 14 grandchildren. Kelsey Lyle, Josie Witt, Connor Hudman, Katlyn Hudman, Heather Runge, Cameron Gardner, Dalton Gardner, Lauren Griffis, Darby Gardner, Brenna Newport, Cole Salinas, Jeremy Salinas, Matthew Monk, and Meagan Monk. Also, survived by 15 great-grandchildren. Nova, Bodhi, Blakely, Lennon, Maya, Hadley, Brooks, Harper, Riley, Collins, Charlotte, Norah, Natalie, Olive, and Mateo.

Also survived by numerous cousins and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Connor Hudman, Gaines Hill, Cameron Gardner, Dalton Gardner, Jeremy Salinas, Cole Salinas, and Matthew Monk.

In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A visitation for Bevie will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521, with funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. A private family committal service will occur at 3:00 PM at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd, Baytown, Texas 77521.
