

Bevil Allan Oliver Sr., 62, of Highlands, Passed away Thursday, December 22, 2005. He was born August 31, 1943 in Goose Creek, Texas. He worked in the petrol-chemical industry, including the Greens Bayou Diamond Shamrock Plant. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. He was also a member of The Samson Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskle and Louise Oliver; and brother, H. W. Oliver.
He is survived by his sons, Troy Oliver and wife Magen, Bevil Allen Oliver Jr.; sisters, Cora Lou Brinson and husband Maurice; brother, Joe Oliver and wife Joy; grandsons, Avery Oliver, Grayson Oliver; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Guedry Cemetery in Batson, Texas, officiated by Rev. Dottie Dumas.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Samson Masonic Lodge.
