Billie J. Broussard

Billie J. Broussard, 65, of Baytown was born April 18, 1947 in Baytown and went peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 4, 2013. Billie was raised in Baytown where she attended Robert E. Lee High School. She married the love of her life Robert Broussard, on March 11, 1967. A few years later she gave birth to her son Randy and then daughter Jana. She worked in and around the Baytown area in the medical field for numerous years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Roach and Vira Harper; loving husband, Robert Broussard; sister, Mary Lane; and brothers-in-law, Raymond Broussard and Ray Broussard. She is survived by her beloved children, Randy Broussard and Jana Broussard and granddaughter Macey Nicole. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Raymond LaFour; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Virginia Broussard, Ann Broussard, Irene Badgett, and MaryAnn and Louie Frazier. She is survived by numerous sweet and loving nieces and nephews as well.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, April 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Herman Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Broussard, Jeff Farmer, Tommy Drewery, Blaien J. Friermood, Justin Broussard, and Jimmy Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Trent and Landon Farmer and Dalton Fojt.

Billie was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed shopping, crafting and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
