She was born April 22, 1936 in Colmesneil, Texas to her late parents, Henry Matthews and Beulah Gibbs Matthews, lived in the Baytown area since 1967 and was a nurse in local medical facilities.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents and all of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Daigle and his wife Monica and Lee Daigle and Laura Henson all of Old River; grandchildren, Rebecca Brueck and her husband Mike of Baytown, Rachel, Regina and Ryan Daigle of Old River, Erin Daigle of Houston, Kristin Daigle of Maryland, Hunter Garrett of Steele, MO and Gahvin Daigle of Old River; step-grandchildren, Jessie Largent and Steffi and Duce Henson all of Baytown; great-grandchildren, Chloe Richards and Aiden Grant and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm, Friday, January 22, 2010 at Navarre Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
