Billy A. ""Bill Whitley

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Polly Whitley and his sister, Darlene Robison and husband J.B. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Whitley; daughters, Kimberly Hall and husband Keith and Kristi Kimbro and husband Kevin; sister, Peggy Johnson; uncle, Durwood Reavis and wife Jeannie; mother-in-law, Marie Henson; caretaker and friend Mercedes Joseph and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was a very loving and devoted husband and father. He enjoyed the outdoors and riding his motorcycle on many trips not only locally but across the country. He was an avid reader. He was a weightlifting trainer and judged many competitions. He adored his dog Rambo and his cat Coco. He was employed for Exxon Chemical for 28 years as a Senior Project Engineer. Bill graduated from Lee College and the University of Houston. Prior to working at Exxon Chemical, he worked for Brown and Root, Inc. as a construction supervisor. Bill was a veteran and was very proud of the time he served in the Navy Seabees.

A visitation will be held at Navarre Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M., Thursday August 8, 2013 with funeral services on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cedarcest cemetery.
