Boobie Heintze Eickenhorst passed away in Baytown, Texas on November 3, 2018 at the age of 101. She was born in Milam County, Texas on December 5, 1916. Boobie was one of ten children. She was born to Albert and Mary Heintze.
Boobie was proud of her employment with Hughes Tool where she worked for 38 years until her retirement. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Baytown, and leaves behind treasured memories to those that knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Louis Eickenhorst; and her son William Douglas Eickenhorst. Additionally she is preceded in death by her parents, and seven of her nine siblings.
Boobie is survived by her son, Floyd Eickenhorst and his wife Sherry; grandson, Mark Eickenhorst and Rhonda; Granddaughter, Michelle Harrison and her husband Larry; great-granddaughter, Brittany Klaus and her husband Matthew; great grandson, Troy Eickenhorst and Kayleigh; great-great granddaughter, Peyton Klaus; brother Albert Heintze and his wife Bernice; brother, Paul Heintze; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Boobie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to each of the caregivers at Rollingbrook Nursing & Rehab., Traditions Hospice, and Swan Manor for the kind and gentle care given to their beloved mother and grandmother.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Redeemer Lutheran Church 1200 E. Lobit St., Baytown, TX from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, with funeral services to begin at 10:00 am. Pastor Paul Neumann, officiating. Graveside service take place at 3:30 pm at Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Buckholts, TX. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations in memory of Boobie may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
