Brenda Sue Ray Thornhill

Brenda Sue Ray Thornhill, 59, of Mont Belvieu was born March 19, 1957, in Alexandria, LA and passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother who was dedicated to her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Sullivan; grandparents, Willie and Eunice Ray and Walter and Lucille Fee; sister-in-law, Dorothy Fuqua; and brother-in-law, Ray Thornhill. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jessie E. Thornhill of Mont Belvieu; daughter, Tabitha Thornhill Seliger and husband, Tom of Chicago, IL; son, Brandon Thornhill and wife, Allison, of Mont Belvieu; mother, Sue Ann Sullivan of Old River; grandchildren, MacKenzie and Colton Thornhill; brother, Carnell Ray, Jr. of Hineston, LA; sisters, Rhonda Martin of Old River, Jennifer Redden of Devers, Cindy Sullivan of Old River, Becky Perthuis of Old River, and Lisa Baker of Tomball; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Henry Thornhill and Thomas and Delia Thornhill, all of Glenmora, LA and Glen Fuqua of Pineville, LA; her beloved little dog, Willie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, August 19, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Biddy officiating. Burial will follow at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Seliger, Stephen Normand, Brent Thornhill, Kenneth LaFour, John Ligon, and Al Perthuis.
