Brian Stanley Hawkins

Brian had a career as an Executive Chef for over 48 years and was a graduate of the first class of California Culinary Academy of San Francisco in 1977. He started his career at Silverado Country Club in Napa, CA and continued in Northern Ca as opening Executive Chef for many Restaurants, Country Clubs and Hotels. Brian enjoyed cooking even when not at work to make other family, friends, and co-workers enjoy and learn about the culinary world. When Brian was not in the kitchen he would take Buddy our late Labrador for walks.

Brian is preceded by his brother Bradley Hawkins and father Donald Hawkins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 20+ years Elizabeth (Libby) Gesford Hawkins. His mother Frances Louderback. His son Brett Hawkins, daughter-in-law Korrina Hawkins. Stepsons, Jackson Tharpe & Michael Tharpe. His sister Dawn Ostrander & brother-in-law Dan Ostrander, niece Cynthia Osborne, his sister Dana Hawkins & brother-in-law Cary Johnson, nephew, Brian Hawkins, nieces, Caitlin White and Caroline Johnson. Father-in-law, Darwin Gesford, brother-in-law Terry Gesford, sister-in-law Virginia Gesford, niece’s Katie Baber, Laura Kunefke, Leanna Reyes & Lacey Clamon.
