Bufford Vincent

Born on September 11, 1943, in Sulphur, Louisiana, Bufford built a life grounded in faith, family, and service. He worked as a store manager for A&P Food Stores before beginning a 31-year career with Exxon Company USA. Following his retirement, Bufford continued serving his community as a substitute teacher for the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District, where he touched the lives of countless students.

A devout Catholic, Bufford was a member of the Louisiana State Choir, where he shared his love of music. He was also passionate about golf and camping, hobbies that reflected his appreciation for fellowship and the outdoors. Above all, Bufford was deeply devoted to his family, finding his greatest joy in time spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Vincent; his sons, Greg Vincent and Steven Vincent; and his grandchildren, Christian Vincent, Clayton Vincent, and Craig Vincent. He was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Vincent.

Funeral services will be held at Navarre Funeral Home in [location TBD] on a date to be determined. Bufford Vincent, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on September 29, 2025.
