Burna Dean grew up in Chester and graduated from Chester High School in 1959. Her family moved to Baytown in 1974 and opened a car business. She did the accounting for their business for many years and retired from Lee College after 24 years of service. She enjoyed her years at Lee College and the many friendships she made there. She was a faithful member of Old River Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and her family and it showed in the sweet loving way she lived her life and the example she set. Burna Dean valued time spent with friends and family. She loved traveling, attending the grandchildren’s activities, and looked forward to hosting weekly after church Sunday lunch with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Seamans. Her daughters and sons-in-law Lesa and Brian Hall, Julie and Keith Dooley and Cindy Seamans.
