
Calvin Frank Slovacek passed away Wednesday morning, June 29, 2005, in a Baytown hospital. He was born September 15, 1926 in Crosby, Texas to Frank and Toni Slovacek. He was a welder with Richmond Tank Car Company, a member of Crosby United Methodist Church, and a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Johnny Slovacek, and 1 brother-in-law, Thomas Simpson. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jimmie Slovacek of Crosby, son & daughter-in-law, Jimmy & Rebecca Slovacek of Crosby, daughter & son-in-law, Cheryl & Steve Hefty of Rockton, Ill., sisters & brother-in-law, Dolly Simpson of Highlands, Ruth & Roy Maghe, brother & sisters-in-law, Frank & Jewel Slovacek of Broussard, La., and Shirley Slovacek, grandchildren, Keith & Ryan Jenks, and great grandson, Davis Jenks.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 2, 10:00 am, at Crosby United Methodist Church with Dr. Charles Green officiating.
