Carol was born on December 5, 1950, in Baytown, Texas, to the late Richard Thomas Wilkins and Dorothy Ann Wilkins. Her life was a reflection of her deep faith—she loved the Lord wholeheartedly and never hesitated to share her testimony of His goodness. Her love for Jesus was evident in the way she lived: with kindness, generosity, and a heart open to all.
Carol cherished her family above all else. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She also loved her extended family, friends, and co-workers, and she never met a stranger. To know Carol was to be loved by her.
She worked as a store manager at a local country store, where she became affectionately known as “Miss Carol.” Her customers and colleagues admired her for her tireless work ethic, her warmth, and her genuine care for everyone who walked through the door. Carol was the hardest-working woman, and she found joy in serving others both at work and in her daily life. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed building puzzles which reflected her patience, determination, and love for bringing pieces together to create something beautiful.
Carol leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. Her children: Rita Kubala, Anita Hampton, Richard Knight, Mary Fregia, Brenda Warner, and Bryan Olson. Her grandchildren: Scotty, Jesse, and Andrew Hampton; Desiree Price; Austin Sandefer; April Olveda; Amber Knight; Martina Cadoree; Savanna, Gobi, and Sahara Warner; Joshua and Jadyn Fregia. Her great-grandchildren: Dixie, Payton, Camden, Paxton, Daisey, Daylen, Ira, Hollis, Evan, and Graysen, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Ann Wilkins and Richard Thomas Wilkins; her brothers Larry Wilkins and Richard Wilkins; and her son-in-law Roland Kubala.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Hampton, Jesse Hampton, Andrew Hampton, Austin Sandefer, Joshua Fregia, and Gobi Warner.
