She was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 21, 1944 to Robert Smith and Virginia K. Monaco (Brazil). She was married to Marion J. Strong for over 25 years. She was a homemaker for over 40.
She loved reading, Big Band Music, old movies, crafting, and painting.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marion J. Strong, one son, Timothy M. Schwemm, both parents, and two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister Sandra Haider; daughters Cynthia A. Fulton of Eunice, LA, Margarete K. Boudreaux of Baytown, TX, and Debra L. Courville of Lake Charles, LA; son John E. Strong of Conroe, TX; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521. A funeral service will follow, starting at 2:00 PM.
