Catherine George Lauraine

Catherine George Lauraine, 55, loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend, of Lebanon, TN, formerly Baytown, was born May 28, 1958 in Kingman, AZ and was received into the loving arms of her Savior on Monday, December 9, 2013 in a Nashville, TN hospital after a long battle with cancer. She was raised in Highlands and spent most of her married life in Baytown and was a1976 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School. She was a former member of Victory Baptist Church in Baytown and was currently attending Salisbury Baptist Church in Lebanon, TN.

She was a freight claim representative for Kroger with 25 years of service. Catherine loved woodworking, traveling, and was a great photographer, but most of all, she was a Godly woman who had a passion for leading others to Christ and was a great wife to her husband.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dale George and sisters-in-laws, Katherine Lauraine and Lisa McPherson. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael J. Lauraine of Lebanon, TN; mother, Jaime George of San Antonio; brother, Byron George of Carlsbad; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Jr. Palermo of Pasadena and Johnnie and Bill Brewer of Lancaster; mother-in-law, Lois Lauraine of Baytown; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Esther and Bob Bearden of Crosby, Belinda Lauraine, Paula and Thom Winters, and George G. Lauraine, all of Baytown and Sandy and Cliff Harding of Lindale; best friend, Guin Ainsworth of Livingston; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday, December 20, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 1800 E. Archer Rd., Baytown, TX 77521 with Pastor David Cripps officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Crosby.

Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews.
