

Beloved and loyal wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Ann, or ""MeeMaw Ann"" departed this world on March 26, 2008 to return to her heavenly Father. She was a child of God, strong in her faith until the very end, who will be missed dearly by all those who love her.
She was born in Beaumont, TX on December 18, 1937 to Charles A. West and Mary Madeline West.
She was preceded in death by her father and brothers Charles A. (Sonny) West and Richard West. Peace is found in knowing that she is now reunited with her loving husband, Texas Baggett, who passed away eighteen years ago.
Ann was best known for her one-of-kind sense of humor. She faced any situation with a smile and ensured one was upon you as well. She always enjoyed a good practical joke and considered making people laugh her real joy in life. She loved visiting with family, especially her grandbabies and held a special place in her heart for all animals (even the stuffed ones).
She is survived by her mother Mary Madeline West of Rye, TX and her sister and best friend Lois and husband K.E. Ousley of Liberty, TX, brother Reggie West, brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney and Bobbi West all of Rye, TX, Timmy & Debbie McHugh and Jimmy & Debbie McHugh all of Highlands, TX.
She leaves behind her son, Texas Baggett, Jr. and his fiancé Linda Brasher of Baytown, TX. Also surviving are her loving daughters and sons-in-law, Renee & Glen Williams of Baytown, TX, Kay & Terry Emery of Splendora, TX, Selena & Mitchell Smith of Highlands, TX, Kim & Chuck Ewers of Bartlesville, OK, and Tina Wheeland of Highlands, TX.
Grandchildren and their spouses include Ray Emery, Stephen & Jennifier Williams, Joseph Williams, Leann & Carlos Alfaro, Shasta & Jeremy Mullins, Rachell & Michael Bridwell, Michelle Williams and fiancée Joel Griffin, Luke & Holly Smith, Nathan Campbell, Tracey Baggett, Robert & Alexis Luke, Patrick Baggett, & Angela Luke.
Great-Grandchildren include Paris, Morgan, & Brindin Emery, Paige, Preston & Bowen Williams, Lexy Williams, KayLynn & Rayven Alfaro, Cameron & Lane Mullins, Keaton, Anderson & Lillian Bridwell and Lea Luke.
Ann also is survived by numerous other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
Her grandson's will be serving as Pallbearers.
The family would like to send a special thank you for the kindness received by the warm and comforting care of the Regency Hospice Facility staff.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. There will be a Wake at 6:00 P. M. with a Rosary to follow. Funeral services will be Monday, March 31, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Dwight Canizares officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
