Pistol had a long career in Brick masonry for 50+ years and was a project manager for several years prior to his retirement. In his retirement phase, he enjoyed the outdoors and going to the deer lease hunting, working at the deer camp and hanging out with his family and friends. He took pleasure in helping others with anything they may have needed and used his many skills to get the job done. He also enjoyed bowling, dancing and roller skating back in the day. He had a special gift for building just about anything, but what truly made him happiest was seeing his grandchildren smile, knowing he had created something special just for them.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant son, Chuck, along with his uncle JW Fitzgerald.
Pistol leaves behind his loving wife of 29 years, Diana Fitzgerald and children including Nena Exley from Morgantown, IN; Jim Rogers and his wife Stephanie from Corpus Christi, TX; Amy Hennigan and her husband Jesse from Baytown, TX.
