

Charles Ernest Mosley, 70, of Cove, TX, was born February 26, 1947, in Hockley, TX. He passed away Friday, September 15, 2017, at MD Anderson Cancer Center of Houston. He was a graduate of Channelview High School and a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked at U.S. Steel for 17 years, until he furthered his education, and received a degree in Instrumentation and Electronics. He began a second career at ExxonMobil Mont Belvieu Plastics and retired after 17 years of service. He was a world traveler, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, and restoring his antique truck.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, William and Audrey Mosley and five brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 50 years, Glenda Mayfield Mosley; daughters and son-in-law, Regina and Robert Rogers and Charlene Strickland; grandsons, Chad Goodman and Carter Strickland; and brother, Billy Mosley.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday, September 19, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Navarre Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Eddie Norris officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Madisonville.
