Charles Edward O'Neal

Charles Edward O'Neal, 62, of Baytown was born March 24, 1953, in Houston and passed away Friday, January 1, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He worked for many years at Hathaway's Grocery Store and then Kroger's on Garth Rd. and was an avid fisherman. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary O'Neal; uncle and aunt, Robert and Stella Davis; and brother-in-law, Joe Gonzalez. He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Charlene O'Neal and James and Connie O'Neal, all of Highlands and Jerry O'Neal of Houston; sister, Denise Gonzalez of Baytown; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2409 N. Main St., Baytown, TX 77520 with Rev. Josh True and Rev. John Bernardini officiating.

His family would like to say a special ""thank you"" to the staff of Harbor Hospice and Joseph and Jole Gonzalez.
