Cheryl lived in Houston her whole life, and her life revolved around her family, children and grandchildren. She loved helping anyone she could and spending time with her grandbabies.
She is survived by her loving soul-mate of 22 years, Roy Simpson of Baytown; her mother, Louisa Brown of Houston; her sons, Joey Abshire and wife Rebecca of Palmer, AK, and Jonathan Abshire of Houston; daughter, Jennifer Abshire of Kaplan, LA; brother, Darrell Brown and wife Beverly of Ohio; five grandchildren, Joseph, David, Andrew, Johanna, and Charlee.; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
She will always be missed and remembered as a great soul. Rest in peace Cheryl.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home.
