

Christopher Lane Williams, 47, of Baytown was born June 5, 1968, and passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016, in Baytown. Chris accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was a 1986 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School and a graduate of The University of Houston. He was an avid reader who loved all things Star Trek and attending the Texas Renaissance Festival.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Williams. He is survived by his parents, Jimmie and Nancy Williams, sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Del Steyn, niece and nephew, Dayna and Derek Steyn and aunts, Glynis Taylor and Betty Wade, all of Baytown; cousins, Douglas Taylor of Baytown, Robin and Rob Darwin of Arlington, Sherry and Ronny Hanks of Deer Park, and Mark Wade and Danny Wade, both of Wimberley; and other extended family members and friends.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday, January 15, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Hill of Rest Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark Wells officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Del Steyn, Douglas Taylor, Rob Darwin, Mark Wade, Clay Knight, and Linden Steyn.
