Condolences to Petra and all of Chukwu's family. I met him in Tobago in late 2000 and he assisted me in getting a job teaching at the UWI Sixth form and then the extension site. He was very supportive and became a true friend. He hosted me at his home in Texas in 2007 and I felt so at ease and welcomed by his family.  So long my friend. Sleep in Peace.

I first met Chukwu when I moved to Texas and he picked me up from the airport. Although I had never met him before, he and Petra graciously welcomed me into their home and their lives. Some of my fondest memories of Texas include him. Chukwu truly was a great man -willing to share laughs, wisdom and his time (when he wasn’t working…).

Chukwu became a father figure to me in Texas and a Godfather to my son. Even after my family moved overseas, he still took the time to check up on us which we always appreciated. 

My sincerest condolences to Petra and the entire family at this difficult time. I pray that you find care, comfort and peace in the Lord Jesus Christ.

With a heavy heart, my family and I say goodbye to Chukwu and thank God for a life well lived. As a family friend he was a mentor, a father figure, a constant motivator, and a true inspiration to us all.
His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering belief in others shaped our lives and Chukwu had a remarkable ability to encourage, guide, and uplift everyone fortunate enough to know him. Chukwu”s presence and cheerfulness brought joy and laughter always, and his advice brought clarity and support when needed.  Chukwu showed us how to live with integrity, compassion, kindness,  love. purpose and thoughtfulness for others and for this I felt lucky to have  known him.

Rest peacefully Chukwu you will be deeply missed 💔🕊️

My mom had known Chukwu for many years, and when my husband and I moved to Texas, he was the first person she connected us with. From the very beginning, Chukwu and Petra welcomed us with open arms, sharing their wisdom, their home, and their love.

We gladly drove nearly two hours many weekends because they quickly became family. Chukwu was truly one of a kind. He was always checking in on us, looking out for us, and became a father figure to us in Texas. Many of his sayings are still part of our everyday vocabulary, and we will miss him deeply.

One of the greatest gifts Chukwu gave us was introducing us to Petra and their beautiful family. Our hearts and prayers are with Petra and the entire family. May the Lord give you comfort, peace, and strength during this difficult time.

Sending condolences to  the wife, children, grandchildren and other relatives of Chuku. He is one of the most dedicated, caring, friendly and jovial persons that I have known. He cared about the success of everyone and performed beyond the call of duty. His own children, students, co-workers  and others could testify to thus. Roxborough Secondary,  all the schools, your children attended and all your Tobago family say RIP.

I wish to offer my sincerest condolences to the Uzoruo family on the passing of their loved one. I worked with Chuko, as he was fondly called at the Roxborough Secondary School,Tobago, where we were both members of teaching staff. He was always a very pleasant person,. He would do all he could to ensure the success of the students under his care and was  generous in rewarding their successes. He had the ability to multitask and  was always involved in many different activities which he wad able to accomplish  in one day.. Now his work on earth is done. May he rest in peace.

Heartbroken to hear of your passing. Thank you for always staying in touch, for your kindness, generosity, and your willingness to help others. I'll never forget you buying me my very first laptop—a gift that meant so much. Thank you also for being such a wonderful teacher to Renee in Tobago. Mr. Uzoruo or Chuko as we foundly called him; taught me at the Roxborough Composite School, Roxborough in the late 90's. Specializing in the area of Social Studies. He was the first person to tell me what my name meant and of it's African origin (Ifama-  someone great or all is well). He was also one of the coolest educators we've had the privilege to know. 
The student body of Roxborough Composite School by extension A2 1997-2002, and all whom you have impacted  with your wealth of knowledge in Tobago, Sir, are eternally grateful.

I attended the Roxborough Composite School in Roxborough, Tobago. (now Roxborough Secondary School) 1994-2000. I had the esteemed  privilege along with my fellow year group alumni to be taught by and or  interact with Chuku as we fondly called him on a daily basis. He was always there to lend a listening ear, stern when he needed to be and ever the comedian when the time was right.  On behalf of the Roxborough Composite of 99 I extend my sincere condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
