
Clifton “Gene” Scott Jr., 86, of Baytown, went to join his wife, with Jesus on Saturday, February 10, 2007. He was born August 25, 1919 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a machinist for a Chemical plant in Baytown. He was a member of Lakewood Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Front.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Scott; his parents; and all of his siblings.
He is survived by his sons, Terry Scott and wife Darlene, Al Scott and wife Linda, Robert “Bob” Scott; grandchildren, Elizabeth Cannon, Jessie Scott, Janet Llanas and husband Greg, Jeremy Scott and wife Dana, Lee Atkinson and wife Loretta; great grandchildren, Austin Sawaya, Quincy Cannon, Brinton Cannon, Brigette McCaleb, Erin McCaleb, Skyler Hall, Brandon Llanas, Allen Malone, Evan Atkinson; niece, Shirley King and husband Bob; nephew, Tim King.
His family will be receiving friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Monday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home, officiated by David Ellis. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston, TX.
