Cody Jones

Cody Jones, 18, of Highlands was born February 2, 1995 in Baytown and passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013. He was a junior at Goose Creek Memorial High School. He loved playing video games and sprint car racing. He was a humorous guy and was known as a jokester.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David York, Mary York, and Claudia Ann Jones and aunt, LaJuana Charlton. He is survived by his parents, Billy and JoNell Jones of Highlands; sisters, Ashley Jones and husband, Jose Perez of Baytown and Heather Jones and fiancé, Travis Barnes of Highlands; grandfather, Donnie Earl Jones of Crosby; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Edwards offciating. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston.

Serving as pallbearers will be David York, Bobby Carrico, Jose Perez, Travis Barnes, Brandon Vanhove, and Jeffery Pearson.
