Dear Mary & family,

It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen you but I’ve heard from time to time of your family, one I remember fondly from my childhood and beyond and remembering your friendship with dear Shelly. I hope you have many happy memories to sustain you through this sad time.

Mary and Family,
So sorry for your loss. The Clantons have been in my life as long as I can remember. Though life took us in different paths, I've always loved you. This is a great picture, and he sure looks like Mammaw. I'm am so glad I was able to see him and visit at Bobbie's funeral. I've always known of you two together, and now I'm hoping for all the memories you have made, will give you some comfort. Sending heartfelt thoughts and hugs.
Love, Nelda (Byford) and Bobby Fayle

I met Dalton & Mary Clanton more than 20 years ago. Don't tell any of our other clients, but these 2 were my absolute favorite! Dalton was such a wonderful person! He will be missed by many I'm sure but most of all Mary. Love both of you very much. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. Fly high Dalton, you will be remembered by me for many years to come!

Dalton and Mary Clanton were dear old family friends of my family.
They and my parents were some of the founding members of the Baytown Youth Fair Assoc. I always saw Mr. Clanton as a firm, fair man who didn't say a lot, but when he spoke, you needed to listen. I know Heaven is richer for his presence there now.
