Darlene Ann DeLong, 73, of Dayton, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in Spring, Texas. She was born in Opelousas, Louisiana, on January 8, 1953, to the late Louis and Lucille Auzenne. Growing up in the Catholic faith, she was a dedicated parishioner at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and St John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Darlene pursued many interests, some of which included flower gardening and shopping. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like just staying home. Darlene was a social butterfly, who never met a stranger, no matter where she went. She found that her greatest joy came from spending precious time with her family.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Donald. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her son Adrian DeLong and wife Iris; her daughter Heather Silcox; her grandsons Liam and Thomas DeLong; and her many cousins; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
