Darlene is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Martin; daughter Cristi Joseph; and parents Leonard and Myrtle Dugat.
She is survived by her children, Lynn Surles (Tommy), Beau Martin, and Susan Kaye Martin; grandchildren, Brayden Fisher, Seth Fisher, Emily Joseph, Tyler Smith, Gaige Martin, Morgan Harding, and Cayden Harding. She is also survived by her best friend and sister, Susan Bertrand.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Barbers Hill Scholarship Association, PO Box 904 Mont Belvieu, TX 77580, or a book dedication at the Barbers Hill Elementary Library.
