He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his older brother Sterling James Anderson, Jr.
David spent his working career at DuPont. After early retirement, he spent his time as a husband, dad, caretaker, grandfather, uncle, and great-uncle. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, his grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. He was loud, boisterous and lived to share a good story. David spent his time on “two waters” around a homemade barbeque pit, flat top grill, or open fire, cooking for those that he loved. The Fourth of July was one of his favorite times of the year, where his home was filled with family, friends, food, and freedom: all of his favorite things.
He is survived by his loving wife Becky Anderson, his children David Anderson, Kelli and her husband Wyndham Hudson, Mindi and her husband Jacob Schaefer; his grandchildren Theodore, Oliver, Archer, Alana, and Wyatt; his sister Judy and her husband Lloyd Matejowsky, Linda and her husband Steve Villarreal, and Gary and his wife Tracey Anderson. He is also survived by cherished nieces and nephews: Luke and Taylor, Katie and Mike, Megan and Jason, Morgan and Leah, and countless great nieces and nephews whom he loved like his own grandchildren.
