David Michael LaBorde

David’s career with Exxon Mobil spanned for over 43 years. He started as an apprentice and was retiring as a senior manufacturing engineer. Highlights of his career were the nine years he spent as an Expat in Saudi Arabia and the opportunity to share his extensive knowledge with the newly recruited engineers. David’s greatest joy was his kids and grandkids and his perfect vacation was sitting on the white beaches of Florida, surrounded by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph LaBorde.

He is survived by his wife Linda LaBorde; mother, Carolyn LaBorde; brothers, Mark LaBorde and wife, Claudia and Kirk LaBorde and wife, Valine; children, Carrie LaBorde Wilson and husband, Jordan, Brock LaBorde, and Christy LaBorde Garrett; step-children, Staci Cooper and husband, Michael, and Matthew Howell and wife, Rachel; grandchildren, Avery and Emma Wilson, Dylan and Drake Garrett, Keely and Olivia Cooper and Brayden and Madison Howell, as well as many other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held for David on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home 2444 Rollingbrook Dr. Baytown, TX 77521.
