Diana Lee Hales of Dayton, TX. was born on January 22, 1948 in Seattle, WA. to Melvin Lee Haynes and Betty Jean Guiberson. She lived in many places growing up but spent much of her youth in Salem, OR where she attended school. She married Raymond L. Hales in 1968 and they went on to have three children. They moved to Texas in 1977 and settled there. Diana had many passions in life that brought her joy. She loved plants and flowers and spent much of her time gardening at home. She always enjoyed a good book and a cup of tea as well as sewing and quilting. However, her greatest joy in life was always her family. After a difficult and hard fought hospital stay Diana passed away on December 31, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband Raymond, her children Jeffrey, Nathan, Karen, her grandchildren Trace, Darrell, Tyler, Mia, Kylie, Arly, her siblings Sylvia, Mary, Pat, Laura, Tommy, as well as her numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Diana was loved and will be missed by everyone.
