

Dollye Hale, 90, of Baytown passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in a local healthcare facility. She was born March 11, 1920 to Zullene and Bennett Hale in New Verda, LA. She attended Robert E. Lee High School, Central Bible College in Springfield, MO and one semester at Lee College. She retired from a bank in Baytown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one sister, Vivian Janowski and wonderful nieces and nephews.
She would like to give thanks to nieces Sybil Boutin and Laverne Henry for all of their help and a special thanks to her sister Ruby's children, Wanda Faye, Viola, Melba Sue and Benny, who took care of her as if she were their own mother. Thanks also to Joe Ted Hayes for his friendship and Dr. Sarma Challa and Dr. Frederico Dancel for their care.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday, May 6, 2010 beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Denny Wells and Lella Mae Greer officiating. A private burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery the next day.
