Doris D. Day

Doris was originally from Biloxi, Mississippi, and moved to Baytown, TX, after Hurricane Katrina.

Doris is preceded in death by her beloved husband Julian Edward Day; her parents, the late William Martin Dawes and Lillie Loper Dawes; her sister, Audrey Narkiewicz; and three brothers, Melvin Dawes, Wiley Dawes, and Jacob (Wesley) Dawes.

Doris is survived by her children; Julian (Mel) Day, Cynthia D. Johnston, William Day, Richard Day, and Linda D. Morgan; ten grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie McCarty, and one brother, James Dawes.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.

Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
